THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE

 

A Tier 2 Contractor that delivers a range of Industrial and Commercial projects is seeking for an experienced Commercial Roof Installer Manager to join their team in Brisbane. The candidate is responsible for organizing and leading the branch installations team, ensuring that all projects are installed according to company standards.

 

The successful applicant will be joining a close-knit group of hardworking team members. This is a permanent and full-time position that offers a competitive package.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate commercial roof installations
  • Supervise and lead teams to meet quality and production goals
  • Identifying problems and developing solutions in order to accomplish work in a timely manner
  • Estimate and control labour projections, material storage, and material needs
  • Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Productivity throughout the installation process.
  • Ensure that every member of the installation team receives the proper safety training and follows Standard Operating Procedures for Safety.
  • Train and supervise direct employees, crews and subcontractors as needed
  • Identify means to reduce costs, minimize risks, or increase efficiency of installation projects.
  • Assures the quality of work produced is acceptable to company standards and specifications.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years' relevant experience
  • General knowledge of construction materials and tools involved in the assembly, installation, or repair of roofing structures
  • A stable track record in roof installation on industrial building projects
  • Ability to read and interpret job orders, understands specifications
  • Possess a wide range of carpentry skills to provide accurate remote job assessment
  • A natural ability to drive the project forward all the while maintaining and developing relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients alike.
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Current drivers’ license & reliable transport
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
