Due to a number of high-profile project wins, the company is now seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team. These candidates will come from a tier 1 or tier 2 fit out background with experience in delivering high end interior fit out, commercial office space, universities, hotels and education ranging from $3 million to $30 million in value. 

 

The type of candidate that will be a success in this role will have at least 5 years’ experience in Contract Administration with a proven track record in delivering high value projects within Commercial sector. 

Responsibilities

As a Contracts Administrator you will be responsible for contract variations, managing costs on site, managing cash flow, maintaining relationships with clients and sub-contractors and providing commercial viability at all stages of the project. 

The role will involve working alongside and assisting key staff members including Construction Managers, Project Managers and Estimators to ensure that all commercial objectives of the project are delivered successfully.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following; 

  • A Degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying 
  • At least 5 years experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Main Contractor in Australia working within the Building Industry 
  • A strong network of building sub contractors throughout SEQ. 
  • Track record of projects across the Commercial Building Industry 
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal 
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills; 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Good team player
