Responsibilities
  • Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to produce precise and detailed drawings, incorporating the clients' design preferences and requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with our sales team, clients, and engineers to create customized and accurate construction.
  • Good understanding of relevant codes and Ensure compliance with the latest building regulations, codes, and energy efficiency standards.
  • Conduct on-site visits to our display home and meet with clients to discuss all matters relevant to the design and production of the deliverables for the project
  • Review and revise drawings based on feedback from clients and the project team.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, to ensure the seamless execution of the design plans
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a draftsperson in the custom home building industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of building regulations, codes, and energy efficiency requirements in the Hervey Bay and South East Qld regions.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other relevant drafting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and appealing drawings.
  • Experience conducting client meetings and site visits, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • A solid portfolio demonstrating your drafting skills and expertise in custom home design.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
  • A pro-active attitude with good communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Achieve targets whilst maintaining a high standard of quality
