Responsibilities
- Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to produce precise and detailed drawings, incorporating the clients' design preferences and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with our sales team, clients, and engineers to create customized and accurate construction.
- Good understanding of relevant codes and Ensure compliance with the latest building regulations, codes, and energy efficiency standards.
- Conduct on-site visits to our display home and meet with clients to discuss all matters relevant to the design and production of the deliverables for the project
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from clients and the project team.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, to ensure the seamless execution of the design plans
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a draftsperson in the custom home building industry.
- In-depth knowledge of building regulations, codes, and energy efficiency requirements in the Hervey Bay and South East Qld regions.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other relevant drafting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and appealing drawings.
- Experience conducting client meetings and site visits, with a strong focus on customer service.
- A solid portfolio demonstrating your drafting skills and expertise in custom home design.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- A pro-active attitude with good communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Achieve targets whilst maintaining a high standard of quality
