THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE

A Tier 2 Contractor that delivers a range of Industrial and Commercial projects is seeking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team in Brisbane. The Site Supervisor candidate will deliver quality performance and oversee the project, from ideation through to completion.

The successful applicant will be joining a close-knit group of hardworking team members. This is a permanent and full-time position that offers a competitive package.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, organize and plan day to day on-site activities to ensure smooth construction delivery within the stipulated schedule.
  • Drive a positive HSEQ culture throughout the organisation
  • Deal with on-site issues effectively and professionally, while focused on time, quality and cost control
  • Attend client H&S meetings when required
  • Ensure effective close out of projects
  • Keep up to date site records
  • Monitor progress and report to the project team
  • Provide weekly updates to Site Manager, Project Manager and Client
  • Liaise with Clients, Stakeholders and Consultants on site
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience as a Site Supervisor working on commercial and industrial new build projects
  • A strong understanding of all current building codes and legislation
  • Must be fully ticketed – to all standards
  • Relevant professional qualifications; trade or tertiary
  • Trade background ideal but not necessary
  • Experience working directly with site teams
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
  • A pro-active attitude with good communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Achieve targets whilst maintaining a high standard of quality
