About the role
Due to continued successful growth our client is seeking for a Site Supervisor to join their team in Hervey Bay. The successful candidate will be working alongside an experienced site team and reporting to the director of the company.
As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee multiple custom residential projects with an estimated value of $5M. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to manage multiple parties and the ability to deliver projects under tight timeframes.
This is a permanent and full-time position that offers a competitive package.

Responsibilities
- Supervise, organize and plan day to day on-site activities to ensure smooth construction delivery within the stipulated schedule.
- Drive a positive HSEQ culture throughout the organisation
- Deal with on-site issues effectively and professionally, while focused on time, quality and cost control
- Attend client H&S meetings when required
- Ensure effective close out of projects
- Keep up to date site records
- Monitor progress and report to the project team
- Provide weekly updates to Site Manager, Project Manager and Client
- Liaise with Clients, Stakeholders and Consultants on site
Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience as a Site Supervisor in Australia
- A strong understanding of all current building codes and legislation
- Must be fully ticketed – to all standards
- Relevant professional qualifications; trade or tertiary
- Trade background ideal but not necessary
- Experience working directly with site teams
- Excellent communication and management skills.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- A pro-active attitude with good communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Achieve targets whilst maintaining a high standard of quality
