About the role
Franklin Smith has landed an opportunity with a well-established family-owned construction company based in Brisbane. They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Site Foreman to be an integral part of a wide range of projects in the region.
The successful candidate will be joining a close-knit group of hardworking team members. This is a permanent and full-time position that offers a competitive package.

Responsibilities
- Understand the scope, contract and project time frames
- Managing contractors to ensure they are fulfilling their roles and responsibilities
- Ensure OHS and environmental procedures are observed, practiced, and provide report on incidences/accidents
- Assisting the Site Manager in the commissioning and handover of the project
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and provided to the Project Manager
- Ensure the project meets its required performance targets in relation to budget
- Manage defects on a daily basis and close out before the end of the project
- Liaise with Clients, Stakeholders and Consultants on site
Qualifications
- 2+ years' structural experience in Australia
- Must be fully ticketed – to all standards
- Relevant professional qualifications; trade or tertiary
- Driver’s license and own transport
- Excellent communication and management skills.
- Strong work ethic, workmanship & quality focus with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and assist staff where required to achieve deadlines
- Carpentry qualifications / Machinery tickets would be useful
- Australian Working Rights
