Our client is a well known construction tier 2 main contractor with operations spread throughout all of Australia.
Their project teams lead and manage the delivery of key commercial developments across Australia. The Technical Project Manager will manage and coordinate all aspects of the architectural, engineering and design and planning activities for the business and all matters to enable the commencement of the works on site by appointed self-build teams or principal contractors and to coordinate and ensure delivery on time and on budget.
The role will deliver various cladding remediation projects through all aspects of the design, planning and construction stages, and be accountable for the projects’ programme delivery. The role may be expected to support projects outside Central Queensland as necessary.
The scope of the role is to manage for multiple projects, the design, planning, H&S, contract negotiation and construction stages to meet stakeholder and business expectations. Where we do not retain any legal interest in the property you may be required to help guide third party building owners remediation plans.
Effective communications and dealings with freeholders and management companies to ensure delivery of a safe, fair, and proportionate remedial solution to buildings within the commercial education sector.
Managing and developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, driving good clear communication throughout our clients Group and Business Unit teams.
Ensure risk is fully understood and managed and actioned to the appropriate time frames to deliver project objectives.
Maintain a comprehensive and up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation, procedures, and best practice, including assessment process and applicable standards for cladding remediation & roof replacement projects.
