Excavator Operator – Civil Drainage | Long-Term Work | Top Rates
We’re on the lookout for an experienced excavator operator who’s confident on the controls and knows how to work smart around deep drainage.
This isn’t bulk earthworks — we need operators who can dig to line and level, handle tight spaces, and support the drainage crew to get the job done right the first time.
What You’ll Get:

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Trenching for sewer, stormwater and water mains
- Digging around services, shoring boxes and manholes
- Supporting pipe crews with safe and accurate digging
- Backfilling, prepping for testing, and site clean-up as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven civil experience (3+ years operating in drainage preferred)
- WTR and Class 1 licence (Class 2 an advantage)
- Good understanding of levels, plans, and on-site communication
- Strong safety focus and a can-do attitude
