A long-established and privately owned construction company, based in Brisbane, is expanding its team. With a proud history dating back to 1980s, this organisation specialises in the delivery of commercial, industrial, and cold storage facilities for a range of local, national, and multinational clients across Australia.

The Role:
An exciting opportunity now exists for a Contracts Administrator who is eager to learn, grow, and develop their expertise within the construction industry. You will work on projects valued between $1 million and $30 million, across the commercial and industrial sectors.
This is a full-time, permanent position based at the head office in Salisbury, Brisbane, with occasional site-based work depending on project requirements. Working closely within a small, multi-disciplinary team, you’ll be hands-on in supporting project delivery and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contracts from engagement through to project completion
- Liaise with clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Respond to and resolve contract and program queries
- Undertake contract administration tasks, including developing, reviewing, and negotiating variations and claims (with support)
- Conduct take-offs, analysis, ordering, and purchasing
- Gather and analyse project data to produce key reports
- Prepare and monitor project schedules
- Actively support site management with supplier and subcontractor coordination
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator, Project Administrator, or in a similar role delivering commercial/industrial projects
- Trade or tertiary qualification in a construction-related discipline (Construction Management, Engineering, Building Surveying, etc.)
- Sound understanding of project management processes and methodologies
- Ability to develop processes, procedures, and relevant project reporting
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Jobpac and Procore (or similar construction software) highly desirable
