About the Opportunity:
Franklin Smith Australia is proud to partner with a highly respected builder-developer renowned for delivering premium residential projects.
We are currently seeking an experienced General Foreman to join the site team for a prestigious waterfront residence on the northern end of the Gold Coast.
This seven-level development features expansive outdoor communal areas, multiple pools, and luxurious amenities, setting a new benchmark for high-end living in the region.
Project Highlights:
- Duration: Approximately 2.5 years remaining on the current project
- Scope: Seven-level luxury residence with extensive communal facilities
- Team Structure: Collaborative site team comprising a Project Manager, Site Manager, and four other Foremen
- Culture: Emphasis on teamwork, low staff turnover, and a supportive work environment
- Future Prospects: Strong pipeline of upcoming projects ensuring long-term career stability
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers effectively
- Implement and maintain safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety on-site
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager to achieve project objectives
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and tradespeople
- Monitor progress and prepare regular reports on project status
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Foreman on multi-level residential or commercial projects 10+ years
- Strong background in concrete structures and apartment construction
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately
- Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Relevant trade qualifications and certifications
