Residential Estimator – Custom Homes & Renovations (Projects up to $3M)
Wakerley, QLD | Full-time | Paying up to $150,000 + Super
A well-regarded Brisbane-based custom home builder is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. Specialising in bespoke new homes and renovations valued up to $3M, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-quality residential projects with a supportive and close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate sales estimates using in-house systems
- Complete take-offs and cost breakdowns for custom residential builds
- Manage tender packages and procurement of trades and suppliers
- Source and negotiate quotes, ensuring competitive pricing
- Perform plan checks and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies
- Liaise with architects, site teams, and external stakeholders
- Assist in improving internal estimating systems and processes
- Experience with BuildXact is highly regarded
About You:
- Background in residential estimating or relevant construction experience
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communicator who enjoys working with trades and consultants
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership of your role
- Trade background or previous renovation experience is a plus
