About the Role:
As a Senior Contract Administrator, you’ll be a key player on the team working closely with the Project Manager and Junior Contract Administrator to deliver a multilevel residential apartment block project. You’ll take ownership of the contractual and commercial aspects of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the contractual aspects of the multilevel residential project from start to finish.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Supervise and mentor the Junior Contract Administrator, providing guidance and support.
- Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and progress payments.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all contractual and project documentation.
- Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Assist in identifying and managing project risks and issues.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Contract Administrator in the construction industry, particularly with residential apartment projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and project management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a collaborative environment alongside a Project Manager.
- Ability to mentor and manage a Junior Contract Administrator.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
