The Burgundy Group has submitted an application for the construction of a 15-storey residential tower to be located on the southwest corner site at 23 Castlebar Street, Kangaroo Point.
The application says that one of the key drivers behind its development is to preserve, restore and enhance Shafston House as a historic place.
The development will be defined by its prominent features, which can easily dominate the site from any angle. The expansive lawn and Shafston House are still strongly felt in this rendering as they stand tall with breathtaking views.
With an innovative design from Rothelowman, there will be 37 luxury three and four-bedroom apartments as well as two four-bedroom river homes.
The design of this building incorporates natural ventilation and greener landscaping to meet the guidelines set out in “Buildings That Breathe”.
