The Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council has chosen a Builder of Choice for the design and construction of their new Civic and Cultural Precinct in southern New South Wales. This will be an important project as it can help bring together both locals to create social spaces and stimulate economic growth by attracting visitors from all over Australia. This will be just one more building in an already bustling cityscape, but it is certainly worth celebrating!

ADCO is thrilled to be working alongside Cox Architects and Project Managers APP on a new project that will transform the space by creating something original for everyone.

The council is developing a new building to house employees who are currently working in 11 different buildings across the CBD. The intention of this development includes bringing together staff, modernizing public and commercial spaces around it, as well as improving connections with existing Bicentennial Hall and Q Theatre locations nearby.

The new design for government offices includes two towers, which will house Government offices in the first tower and council administration including a public library space. In addition to meeting rooms and break-out spaces, it also contains 100 parking spots reserved exclusively for people who work on-site as well as an outdoor garden with plants that attract butterflies!
