The Coca-Cola Arena is a stadium with an area of half-million square feet and the capacity to seat 20,000 people. In recent years, it has become known for large-scale international music concerts as well sporting events like hockey or basketball games.
ASGC has been tasked with providing 4D construction planning and scheduling. The organisation’s many companies provide services in various fields of industry, all leaders within their respective areas of expertise – from turnkey projects for residential or commercial sectors right down to leisure time activities such as hotels, restaurants, etc.; healthcare institutions like hospitals & clinics; education facilities including schools (both primary/secondary level) universities…the list goes on.

The ASGC team used SYNCHRO Pro Virtuosity, A Bentley Company’s platform to plan and schedule the 4D construction process.
The construction team was able to use SYNCHRO Pro’s 4D planning and scheduling software during the course of their project. This allowed them not only to communicate more efficiently with each other but also provided continuous feedback that improved performance as well! They were able to simulate engineering progress in order to highlight what happened at certain points throughout building approval stages or supply chains – all this data has been accurate thanks directly from site staff who used it natively without any need for adjusting accuracy variables beforehand (a huge benefit when working off-site). Furthermore using As-Built models created automatically by SYNCHRO Pro makes managing facilities much easier.
The 4D BIM documentation produced by ASGC includes 3D and 4th-dimensional models that were received over the contract period. All project documents, including RFIs, clash reports logs are now housed in one place for easier handover which will save time on future endeavors
The SYNCHRO Pro 4D construction planning and scheduling application have improved the team’s time management on steel structure’s construction, saving them about two weeks’ worth of work. The venue opened in June 2019 with many internationally renowned events already taking place at this incredible event space.
