Max Beck’s BeckDev new development will add an exciting 22-storey residential building to the Coolangatta skyline. The $130 million ‘Palais’ is set for delivery of 175 one, two and three-bedroom apartments with amenities like a retail space on ground level which makes it perfect.

BeckDev Gold Coast tower

Max Beck’s BeckDev develops a 22-storey tower at the Gold Coast.

Last month, BeckDev was among six local and interstate buyers vying for 31-35 McLean Street. The site had been up for grabs earlier this year but it didn’t take long before they finalized their purchase.

CBRE has been appointed to market the new apartment complex Palais when it launches in coming months. According to Nicholas Clydsdale, director of residential projects at CBRE (which specializes primarily with commercial real estate), this will be a very lucrative endeavor as there is currently an overwhelming demand for rental properties on Australia’s Gold Coast.

The company founded by the Beck family and chaired by development industry veteran Max Beck, has appointed BDA Architecture to design a collection of sky homes with an appealing beachside outlook.
