In preparation for the construction of stage 2 of the Le Bain development, Cavcorp has filed a development application for the construction of a 15-storey residential building called “Italian Club” at 10-20 Wyandra Street, Newstead.

As a result of Cavcorp’s own design, the ANFE Italian Club with a long history of serving Brisbane residents is expected to be moved to the property.

Three ground-floor retail tenancies will be included in the structure, with ample space for a restaurant or office. A cross block is also planned to link Wyatt and Wyandra Street.

In addition, three magnesium spas with temperature controls will be available to residents and tourists, along with garden-fresh landscaping.

On the rooftop are vegetable and palm tree gardens, an outdoor gym, a yoga lawn, as well as a lounge area and dining room.

One of the unique features of this development that will awe the Brisbane crowd is the 81.2 by 15 metre high green wall to be constructed by Florafelt vertical garden systems. There will be 12,000 plants lining the wall, which will absorb 29.9 tons of carbon dioxide and produce 3.155 million litres of oxygen per year.
