Hansen Yuncken has been tasked to build Vaxxas Biomedical Facility, a needle-free vaccine facility.

In a move that should help with research and development as well manufacturing, Northshore Brisbane has been selected for this new needle-free vaccine production facility.

Imagine the possibilities of a new space with this much potential. Vaxxas is repurposing 4200 square metres from airport parking to make way for exciting projects that will benefit everyone.

The new building will be a perfect fit for Vaxxas, with its ISO standard clean rooms, PC2 and BC2 certified laboratories, engineering and production spaces, and corporate offices. The company can now have an office in this strategic location next to the future Brisbane 2032 Olympics Games Village.

Queensland Deputy Premier, Steven Miles has announced that a company was awarded the contract to refurbish an existing warehouse at Northshore. This will create more than 80 construction jobs.

Angus Forster, Vaxxas’ Chief Operations and Development Officer expressed that their high-density micro-array patch (HD-MAP) technology can deposit a vaccine through the skin in just seconds.
