The new development application submitted by Pellicano is going to be a boutique eight-storey residential building located at 21 Duke Street, Kangaroo Point.

DBI Architecture has created an innovative design for 86 apartments and short-term accommodation dwellings with communal rooftop facilities.

Pellicano Kangaroo Point building

Pellicano has proposed an eight-storey residential building at Kangaroo Point.

As referred to in its development application, the building is called ‘Story House’ and sits just three houses from Gabba Stadium on Vulture Street.

The project has included x32 studio apartments which are designed to be short-term let, ensuring that people can still enjoy their time living in this area after it’s completed. This will also improve the public realm and reduce the bulk of development according to DBI Architecture.

The apartments located between levels 1 to 3 are proposed for short-term accommodation, but all other remaining ones on higher levels will only be built with multiple dwelling units.
