The developer of Buranda Village, Vicinity Property Investment Trust has filed a development application to build an urban community at their shopping centre site. This will create multiple options for businesses and homes.
Under the proposed plans, Buranda Village shopping centre will be completely demolished with a new ‘world-class’ mixed-use living, working, and shopping precinct built in its place.
As part of the three-stage master plan, four 15-story buildings for rent residential buildings will be constructed in the Stage 1 lifestyle precinct, followed by two commercial buildings and one 10-story building.
These buildings have been designed by Rothelowman and Hassell, the seven sub-tropical designed buildings would each have their own character within this proposed development according to application. All 31 principles of New World City’s ” Buildings That Breathe” guide are reflected in these structures.
