Construction of 18 new homes is set to begin in Ramingining, Northern Territory as part of the Territory Government’s remote housing program.

The DRG Industries team is a valuable asset for any development company that needs help with its home extension or upgrade. For the first three years, they have been awarded $5 million per year in funding to provide much-needed support on housing projects!

The NT Government has planned to build 18 new homes in Ramingining, Northern Territory.

The company is currently mobilizing in East Arnhem and will begin working in the coming weeks, owned by Gumatj Corporation.

The recent Aboriginal Business Enterprise signing of seven new apprentices is a strong indication that construction will be booming in the near future.

The people of Ramingining are so excited to have the opportunity for industry training. They’ll be working with an expert team that includes six other apprentices at Nhulunbuy, and it looks like this will help them find new jobs quickly! Additionally, DRG Industries will work with local suppliers and subcontractors.

Construction has begun on the first 14 houses to be built at Galiwin’ku north of Ramingining. In recent years, the NT government invested around $15 million in support for these developments with Chansey Paech – Remote Housing Minister saying they were all crucial steps towards better housing across remote areas including Borroloola, Willowra, and Maningrida as well as Pmara Jutunta Ali Curung Hermannsburg and Jilkminggan.
