The first of 1000 new homes built under the South Australian Government’s $400 million construction stimulus were all sold off-plan, and work has already started on their completion.

The most beautiful and affordable homes in Australia are now being built. The developers of Fairmont Homes, Metricon Homes, Rivergum Housings, and Scott Salisbury Construction were selected after a competitive tender process.

As part of the State Government’s $400 million affordable housing programme, the first 19 homes in Dover Gardens in Adelaide, South Australia’s capital, were sold. On the HomeSeeker SA website, the first home was sold for a total of $422,050. The median property price in metropolitan Adelaide in the second quarter of 2021 was $540,000, according to data. By 2025, the South Australian state government will assist in the construction of 1000 new affordable dwellings.
